In 2013 Alex Ponce founded Las Golondrinas, when he discovered a previously un-cultivated parcel of land in the San Juancito area. Although he is relatively new to farming, he has already received local acclaim, placing 5th in the Best of Honduras Late Harvest Auction in 2016.
